“WILL!” Harmony jumped out of her chair and flew through the restaurant to tackle hug Willow Truly as she came through the doors. “I can’t believe you got stuck in Florida last night. You missed Lucky’s sexy photosh—”

“HARMONY!” Lucky yelled, her eyes flying to her brother who was sitting across from her (and next to me) at the table and not paying the least bit of attention to The Girls.

Nope. Austin was too busy pressing his leg against mine, running his fingers under my skirt and up my thigh, and basically making me horny to the point of distraction all while appearing as if he were doing nothing more than quietly eating his breakfast.

It was all I could do not to laugh at his innocent act. Or jump him right there at the table. I would have slapped his hand away, but there was nothing I wanted more than his hands all over me again and again.

And again.

God, I needed to focus. There was a wedding to throw in three days, and my to-do list was still a half-mile long (when all I really wanted to do was cross everything off and write Austin over and over). I pushed his hand away, crossed my legs, and grinned at Will as she pulled out the spare chair next to me and sat down.

“My plane getting grounded last night was a blessing in disguise,” Will said as she flipped her napkin open and lay it across her lap.

Summer raised an eyebrow. “What’s his name?”

Will laughed, then said, “You know what, I don’t know. We never actually exchanged names.”

“Oooh,” Bliss said. “Do tell.”

“Aaaaaaaaaand I’m leaving.” Austin was on his feet, grabbing his cup of coffee and pushing his chair in. He stood right next to me, his fingers wrapping into the ends of my hair where no one could see. Even THAT was turning me on. I reached down and gripped his pant leg. “This sounds like Girl Talk, and since you all have never allowed me to be around for it before, I don’t see any reason to start now.”

“Good,” said Will. “I wouldn’t want to make you blush, Noble.”

“You’re probably the only woman on earth who could, Truly.” Austin raised his coffee cup in salute. “I’ve read your columns. I don’t need any more detail than that.” He set down his cup, pulled out his phone and headed for the door.

A second later mine buzzed, and I looked down at it as Will gave her order to the waiter.

AUSTIN: Want to see another secret cove today? Or an abandoned building? Deserted island?

ME: I wish! But you’re doing the final check with the florists, and I have to meet with the events coordinator. As soon as I’m done catching up with The Girls, of course.

AUSTIN: Don’t think I don’t notice you delegating a little too well here. I’m working (for free, I might add) while you’re goofing off. You have the makings of an excellent executive. And you thought you didn’t have a business-minded bone in your body…

ME: Haha.
